Fire resistant Mica Tape is an insulating material produced from natural Mica mineral is used to produce Muscovite and Phlogopite Mica paper bonded with organic silicon resin, reinforced by non-alcaline glass cloth or polyehtylene film one side or both side to produce fire resistant mica tapes for cables. Mica tape is incombustible and non flammable and can withstand temperature of 750oC to 1000oC depending on the type of mica mineral and its process, it offers excellent thermal resistance properties and resist fire without burning.
Incombustible, asbestos free and do not create toxic gasses.
Excellent tensile strength and shock resistance.
Applications:
